A musical march down memory lane!
THE VOICE 2016
This is a clip of us on Episode 7 of the Blind Auditions of The Voice 2016. We were amazed to receieve a phone call in May 2016 from a member of The Voice team asking us if we'd consider auditioning. We went along for the experience never dreaming we'd be one of the 200 acts chosen to have a blind audition with the celebrity judges. Over 44,000 people auditioned so we were absolutely thrilled! Less than half of the 200 acts got a slot on the TV so again we were incredibly pleased to have aired a clip of our audition. The Voice team treated everybody with so much care and respect - it was an amazing experience, made even more so when a film crew came to Wimborne and filmed us at the Streets Meadow Residential home - many thanks to the staff and residents for their help and support. All our families came for the day of the Blind Auditions making it even more of a memorable day.
The Judges; comments to us:
Ricky Wilson - described us as 'an injection of happiness' which he needed after having a bad day, and how he could do with us being there to cheer him up every day.
Boy George - asked us if we have modelled ourselves on Betty Davis and Joan Crawford.
Paloma Faith - complimented our outfits calling us 'amazing'.
Will.I.Am - asked the interesting point of if this is what is sung in residential homes now, what will be sung in years to come!
